Terms of Service

By using PodDebrief (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

PodDebrief provides AI-generated analyses (“debriefs”) of publicly available podcast episodes. Debriefs include summaries, key takeaways, quotes, and audio versions. The Service is provided “as is” — we strive for accuracy but AI-generated content may contain errors.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Free & Paid Plans

  • Free plan: 5 debriefs/month, 2 podcast subscriptions. No credit card required.
  • Pro plan: €7.99/month. 50 debriefs/month, 15 subscriptions.
  • Max plan: €14.99/month. 200 debriefs/month, unlimited subscriptions.

All plans include the same features. Plans differ only in volume limits.

4. Payments & Cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our AI systems
  • Resell or redistribute debriefs as a competing service
  • Abuse our API or systems (rate limiting applies)
  • Create multiple free accounts to circumvent limits

6. Intellectual Property

Podcast content belongs to its respective creators. PodDebrief debriefs are our AI-generated analysis and commentary on publicly available content. You may share debriefs and clips for personal and professional use. The PodDebrief brand, code, and design are our property.

7. Limitation of Liability

PodDebrief is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to inaccuracies in AI-generated content, service downtime, or data loss. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
